PASSUR Aerospace Appoints Katharine Cargol as New Chairman; G.S. Beckwith Gilbert To Assume Chairman Emeritus Role

Orlando, Fla. June 16,  2025 – PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (PASSUR), a global leader in aviation intelligence solutions, announced today that G.S. Beckwith Gilbert has retired as Chairman of the Board, effective June 3, 2025. The Board has unanimously elected Katharine Gilbert Cargol, a seasoned intelligence and technology executive, to succeed him as Chairman. Gilbert will continue to support the company in the role of Chairman Emeritus.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to help guide PASSUR’s journey,” said Gilbert. “The company’s unmatched expertise and innovation continue to solve some of aviation’s most pressing challenges, once thought of as a cost of doing business. I’m proud that so many industry leaders—airlines, airports, operators, and government agencies—rely on PASSUR as a mission-critical partner.”

Gilbert added, “Katharine brings a unique combination of strategic vision, operational rigor, and deep understanding of decision-making in complex environments.”

Cargol, Gilbert’s daughter, currently serves as President and CEO of Field Point Capital Management Company, the private equity firm Gilbert founded and of which he is Chairman. She previously spent 17 years at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where she led multidisciplinary teams focused on operations, analysis, and emerging technologies. Prior to her CIA service, she worked in mergers and acquisitions at Lazard LLC. She holds an A.B. from Princeton University.

“We are entering a transformative period in aviation intelligence, driven by the industry’s demand for greater efficiency and enhanced customer experience,” said PASSUR CEO Brian Cook. “PASSUR is well positioned to lead this evolution. Katharine’s background in scaling complex technology initiatives and delivering high-impact intelligence aligns perfectly with our growth strategy. We’re also immensely grateful to Beck for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment over the past 27 years.”

“I am honored to take on the role of Chairman at such a pivotal moment,” said Cargol. “PASSUR’s integration of AI and machine learning with deep aviation domain expertise gives us a strong foundation for accelerated growth. I look forward to collaborating with the board and leadership team to maximize the value we deliver to our customers and shareholders.”

PASSUR continues to drive innovation across the aviation ecosystem. Its latest technology enhancements—already delivering predictive insights with over 15% greater accuracy than other sources — underscore the company’s position at the forefront of aviation decision intelligence.
